What happens if Premium ends?
Your five most recently edited novels remain editable. Any additional novels become read-only, but you can still open, export, or delete them. HexaQuill does not lock away your writing.

Do I need Premium to use HexaQuill?
No. Free includes the full editor, Codex, exports, OpenRouter support, and five editable novels.
Are local AI model costs included?
Local AI runs on your own computer through tools such as LM Studio or Ollama, so HexaQuill does not charge per prompt. Hardware and electricity costs remain yours.
What is the difference between the two Premium plans?
Premium costs £4.99 per month and includes unlimited novels, local AI, automated Codex tools, and advanced themes. Premium + MCP costs £5.99 per month and adds the planned HexaQuill MCP Companion.
What is the HexaQuill MCP Companion?
It is a planned Premium feature for connecting compatible MCP-enabled AI applications to a selected local HexaQuill project through controlled, permission-based tools. It is not available yet, and HexaQuill will not ask for or store your AI provider password, browser session, or subscription credentials.
Can I cancel Premium?
Yes. Premium is monthly and can be cancelled through the billing portal once payments launch.
Will the prices change before launch?
The planned prices are £4.99 per month for Premium and £5.99 per month for Premium + MCP. Any change will be shown clearly before payment is collected.
